I live in Boulder, Colorado. A town where hiking boots could be considered a trend. The majority of the population you could call the "outdoorsy" sort. The remaining population consists of college students, and hippies. So fashion is thin on the usually snow covered ground. What trends there are, are praticality based and earth inspired. Like Sorel snow boots for Colorado's tempormental weather and schatel bags comfortable for walking or biking since no one drives (unless its a subaru.) Big heavy cardigans work great for layering because you never know it it will be 40 degrees out or 80. And spirit hoods are a Boulder hipster must have.
